Careers in building customer focussed teams have allowed us to approach this business from a completely new direction.. We aim to constantly improve and pride ourselves on our ability to innovate.
It's all about the team and we include you in that!
Each year we've grown our business and along with that our team - skills grow with experience, coaching and support.
Without exception, we've taken people from outside the marquee industry to work with us, both as permanent staff and seasonal workers - that's because we want our own standards and work ethics to be the drivers of our team, not the traditional "we've always done it that way".
Sarah is our office manager and she works with our managing director - Karen and together they will support each customer from enquiry to event follow up.
Lee and Kevin lead our innovation, construction and painting team over the winter. In the Summer they'll lead the teams as they become safe, competent and efficient marquee riggers, drivers, tent erectors, games builders & fairground barkers.

We come from careers in high level customer service and have worked within big name brand environments, both here in the UK and across Europe. We've even notched up an award or two!
Tilly's Garden Party Hire started with our own party experience and discovering just how difficult it was to hire lots of the things we needed for an outdoor party or event. Lots of suppliers were very traditional and it wasn't simple for us to understand what they would do for us with any confidence. Quotes were either too complicated or over simple. We found it was quite worrying to wait and see what (and when) things would actually turn up!
We started with our Garden Party Packages - simply almost everything you'd need to host your own party at home. These expanded when we bought our vintage china in to full blown tea parties and that's when we decided to develop our own range of traditional garden and fete style games.
In 2014 we used everything we'd learned with garden parties and stepped in to the marquee world, determined to bring the same transparency and confidence to wedding and event hire.
We've caused a few ripples in the industry and a lot of businesses are following our lead - both in the way we work and copying our innovative ideas. We see this as a brilliant endorsement in our business model and makes us even more determined to set the standards for marquee and event hire going forward.
We are still a relatively small business, but have a rosta of people who help us deliver your hire items, set them up if required and make sure they are all collected without any fuss. It is our policy not to over commit.
